Equipment We Use

Our department of Skin Laser is having different ranges of laser machines. They are second-generation Nd YAG Laser (Neodymium) machines, Erbium YAG Laser machines, Q switched Nd YAG Laser machines, Narrowband UVB machine, Traditional Co2 Laser machine, Fractionated Co2 Laser machine, and eTwo machine. Fractionated Carbon Dioxide (CO2) laser resurfacing merges fractional photothermolysis with an ablative 10600 nm wavelength. This technique effectively treats rhytides, photodamage, and scars, offering shorter recovery times and significantly fewer side effects compared to traditional CO2 laser resurfacing. Some of our Laser machines are shown in the above picture.

Laser Science

Today modern medical science is changing according to the needs of the man to fulfill the dreams of their cosmetic and aesthetic appearance. Cosmetology is fast developing with the introduction of newer laser machines. The word LASER is an acronym for Light Amplification by the Stimulated Emission of Radiation. LASER consists of an active medium (crystal, gas, dye) that is raised to an excited state by an external energy source such as a flash lamp or an electric discharge. The resulting process of stimulated emission in the active medium produces an abundance of photons of light all of the same wavelength. A pair of mirrors at each end of the active laser. Medium reflects the light back and forth on itself to increase the probability of stimulated emission. One of the mirrors allows a small fraction of the light to leak through. The resulting beam of light is the output beam of the laser.

Parameters

Laser treatments, including Nd YAG, Erbium YAG, and CO2 lasers, offer versatile solutions for hair removal, vascular lesions, wart removal, and skin resurfacing. Tailored to different skin types and conditions, these advanced lasers effectively target specific areas, delivering precise results with minimal downtime. Whether for aesthetic improvements or treating specific skin concerns, laser technology ensures optimal, safe outcomes for a range of dermatological needs.

Terminology and definitions

Using lasers in medical treatments requires understanding key factors like wavelength, energy, and power to ensure effective results. Understanding laser parameters such as wavelength, pulse energy, power, and safety measures is crucial for effective and safe use in medical applications. By controlling factors like fluence, pulse width, and spot size, lasers can be precisely targeted to treat tissues while minimizing damage. Proper safety precautions, especially eye protection, are essential to avoid potential hazards during laser operations.
